Small Dog/Cat kennel

This was one of my first projects. I made this for a friend of mine who had a stray cat visit her garden regularly. She wanted some where the cat could go to keep warm and dry. She already had a cat so didn't really want it in the house.

For the frame work i used 38mmx25mm treated timber. For the base and roof i used 18mm OSB board, Probably abit overboard on that side of things i think. For the panels i used featheredge boarding. i then used a couple of strong hinges to back of lid to allow for easy access if required for cleaning. i then added some feet for water to run through and felted the roof.
A large enough hole was left at front to allow access for the cat. the overall size of kennel is 3ftx2ftx2ft with cost of £90. This is a strong built to last item. With minimal maintanace it will last for years and years. once a year a coaqt of creosote will suffice. And replacing the felt when required to do so.
